Governor Parson announces judicial and county clerk appointments

Michael L. Parson, 57th Governor of Missouri | Missouri Gov. Michael Parson

Governor Mike Parson has made significant appointments to the 23rd Judicial Circuit and Crawford County Clerk's Office. Charles T. Argana from Festus has been appointed as Associate Circuit Judge for the 23rd Judicial Circuit. Argana is currently an assistant public defender III with the Missouri Public Defender’s Office. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in political science from Quincy University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Memphis: Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. This appointment fills the vacancy left by the retirement of Honorable Carl W. Yates III.

Additionally, Kimberly Gibbs from Steelville has been appointed as Crawford County Clerk. Gibbs works as a substitute teacher for the Steelville R-3 School District and previously served there full-time. She is also involved with the Crawford County Farm Bureau board and acts as vice chair for the Crawford County University Extension. Gibbs holds a Bachelor of Science in education from Missouri State University.
