Governor Kehoe has announced the appointment of Amy Trueblood as the new Associate Circuit Judge for Cape Girardeau County in the 32nd Judicial Circuit. Trueblood, a resident of Cape Girardeau, has an extensive academic and professional background in law.

Trueblood holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in environmental science, public policy, and economics from Harvard University. Her legal licenses span the states of Virginia, Illinois, and Missouri. Her current position is as a judicial law clerk to Judge Stephen N. Limbaugh at the United States District Court in Cape Girardeau.

In addition to her legal career, Trueblood is actively involved in several professional organizations. She is a member of the Federalist Society, Harvard Club of St. Louis, and the Cape Girardeau County Bar Association. Her community involvement includes past service on the Cape Girardeau Public Library Board of Trustees, where she has held roles including President and Vice President.
