The Kansas City Chiefs will host the Washington Commanders at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium on Monday, October 27. The event will feature several initiatives and activities for fans attending the game.

Monday’s game will highlight the Chiefs Military Mission, presented by G.E.H.A, as part of the NFL’s Salute to Service initiative. This initiative has honored United States military members since 2011 and has raised over $75 million through partnerships with organizations such as the Bob Woodruff Foundation, Pat Tillman Foundation, Tragedy Assistance Programs for Survivors, United Service Organizations, and Wounded Warrior Project. The Chiefs will recognize service members and their families throughout the evening. “Since its launch in 2011, Salute to Service has been the NFL's year-long commitment to honor those who serve and sacrifice as members of the United States military.”

Fans are encouraged to participate in the annual Toys for Tots drive by donating new, unwrapped toys for children ages 0-16. Donation boxes will be located at each entry point from 3 p.m. until the end of the first quarter. All contributions will benefit Kansas City families experiencing financial difficulties during the holiday season.

Entertainment for the evening includes a national anthem performance by retired United States Air Force Master Sergeant Robert Carter. Carter has performed internationally and at major sporting events. The American Legion Band of Greater Kansas City will present the colors. At halftime, Sofronio Vasquez, winner of season 26 of The Voice, will perform “America the Beautiful,” accompanied by 50 Season Ticket Members.

The Chiefs are also launching “Secret Chiefs,” a YouTube series featuring celebrity superfans and Chiefs Legends visiting tailgates. The first episode is available on the team’s official YouTube channel.

Parking lots will open at 3 p.m., with fans encouraged to purchase parking passes in advance through the team’s website to ensure a smoother process. All tickets and parking passes are mobile-only and should be accessed or saved to mobile wallets before arrival. Real-time traffic updates are available via the KC Scout camera network and Waze app. Rideshare drop-off and pick-up will be at the Missouri Welcome Center between Gates 1 and 2.

Fans unable to attend can listen to the game on KFNZ-FM (96.5 The Fan), with Mitch Holthus, Danan Hughes, and Josh Klingler providing commentary. Spanish-language broadcasts will be available in Kansas City and parts of Kansas through Tico Sports on multiple stations. Both English and Spanish broadcasts can be streamed within a 50-mile radius of Kansas City via the Chiefs Mobile app. The game will also air nationally on ESPN with Joe Buck, Troy Aikman, and Laura Rutledge.

Stadium gates open at 5:30 p.m., with CommunityAmerica Club Level access beginning at 5 p.m. Fans are reminded to have their tickets ready in advance for faster entry.

The Ford Tailgate District in Lot M opens at 3:30 p.m., offering food trucks, games, live music by Big Time Grain Co., DJ Lazer, and performances by Chiefs Rumble, Chiefs Cheerleaders, and others. Several partner activations will also be present.

The GEHA Deck will host former Chiefs tackle Eric Fisher as this week’s Drum Honoree. Fisher played eight seasons with Kansas City, starting in 113 games and earning two Pro Bowl nominations. He was also a member of the Super Bowl LIV championship team.

Larry Burns, a retired U.S. Army Colonel with over 35 years of service, will be honored in this week’s Lamar Hunt Legacy Seat presented by United Airlines.

The Hunt Family Foundation 50/50 Raffle will benefit local military veterans’ organizations. Tickets can be purchased online by fans in Missouri or Kansas or in-person until the end of the third quarter. Winners do not need to be present to claim prizes.

GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium offers accessibility services such as mobility assistance carts, a sensory room with support kits, and a nursing lounge for parents.

Concessions throughout the stadium will feature value pricing on select items like hot dogs, pretzel bites, popcorn, and sodas for $5 each. All concession stands are cashless, accepting credit/debit cards and mobile payment options.

The NFL’s clear bag policy remains in effect for all stadium events. Fans are encouraged to review permitted items before arriving to expedite entry.
