The Kansas City Chiefs have officially commenced their 2025 season by reporting to training camp at Missouri Western State University. On Sunday, all 90 roster members arrived on campus ahead of the team's 17 scheduled practices in St. Joseph.

Head Coach Andy Reid expressed enthusiasm about returning to Missouri Western State University for the camp. "It's great to be back at Missouri Western State University," Reid stated. "We love this place, and it's a great place to have training camp."

Coach Reid also provided updates on player injuries, noting that offensive tackle Jawaan Taylor, cornerback Kristian Fulton, and tight end Tre Watson will start camp on the "Physically Unable to Perform" list. However, rookie offensive tackle Josh Simmons appears ready to participate despite recovering from a previous injury.

Reid's training camps are known for their intensity but are considered beneficial in the long term. "It's never an easy camp, [but] it builds you a foundation that you can bank on," he remarked.

This year's camp is unique as it takes place away from the team's facility in Kansas City. The Chiefs are among only six NFL teams that relocate for training camps. Players and coaches will stay in dorms throughout the duration of the camp until August 13.

Fans have an opportunity to watch the three-time defending AFC champions in action as fifteen of the seventeen practices will be open to the public. Most sessions are free with prior online ticket reservation required.
