Jackson County spent $2,808,185 on women’s collegiate basketball teams in 2023, representing a 9.5% decrease from the previous year, according to the U.S. Department of Education.

Overall, basketball teams in the county received a total of $6,889,553, with women’s teams receiving $2,808,185.

Since 2010, the average sports expenses in Jackson County have grown 68.1%.
