Governor Kehoe appoints six individuals to state boards and county office

Governor Mike Kehoe has announced the appointment of six individuals to fill one county office vacancy and five positions on various boards and commissions in Missouri.

Brandon Boulware of Kansas City has been appointed to the Missouri Ethics Commission. Boulware is the managing partner of Boulware Law LLC and has over 20 years of legal experience. He has previously served as a clerk for the Missouri Supreme Court and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri. He is active in his community, serving on the Committee for County Progress in Jackson County and has held board positions with St. Paul's Episcopal Day School, the Midwest Housing Advisory Board, and the Missouri Gaming Commission. Boulware earned his law degree from American University Washington College of Law.

Shannon Covington of Lake St. Louis was appointed to the Missouri Dental Board. Covington is director of dental training and development at Compass Health Network in Wentzville. She has worked as a dental hygienist for several employers, including Compass Health, Lincoln County Health Department, Deer Creek Dental, and L.J. Ortman Dental. Covington is a board-certified dental hygienist with an associate's degree in dental hygiene and a diploma in dental assisting from Missouri College.

Julie Leicht of Webster Groves will also serve on the Missouri Ethics Commission. Leicht has been democrat deputy director for the St. Louis County Board of Elections and has participated actively in state and local government through roles such as member of the Missouri Association of County Clerks and Election Authorities, executive director of the Children's Service Fund, and director of Citizens for Missouri's Children. She holds a master's degree in public administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Dr. Calvin Mott from Rolla was appointed to the Missouri Dental Board. Mott works as a general dentist at Mott Family Dental in Rolla and is affiliated with professional organizations including the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, Central Dental Society, and St. Louis Dental Society. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Arkansas and a Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry.

Christy Techau-Dover from Laclede was named Linn County Assessor after serving as interim assessor and chief deputy assessor for Linn County. Techau-Dover holds an associate's degree in human services from Columbia College.

Dr. Jennifer Tinnel from Kansas City was reappointed to the Missouri Dental Board. Tinnel is an associate dentist at Platte Valley Dental Care and serves as president of the Missouri Dental Board while maintaining membership in organizations such as the American Dental Association and Greater Kansas City Dental Society. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Policy from the University of Kansas and her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
