A Sporting Kansas City player visited Leawood Middle School as part of the Red Card KC anti-bullying campaign. The initiative is being held during National Bullying Prevention Month in October.

Sporting KC players, together with behavioral health specialists from Children’s Mercy, are visiting schools throughout the Kansas City metropolitan area. Their goal is to educate students on how to recognize and respond when they witness bullying.

The campaign encourages students to "call it" if they see bullying happening. During the visit, students participated actively and showed support for the message. One moment included a crowd cheer: “I believe that we will win.”

Red Card KC aims to raise awareness about bullying and promote positive behavior among young people in local schools.
