Sporting Kansas City will see a leadership change this week as David Lee takes on the role of President of Soccer Operations and General Manager starting Tuesday. Lee, who began his career in England, has held various positions in Major League Soccer since 2011. His experience includes serving as Performance Analyst for the New York Red Bulls, where he was part of the club's 2013 Supporters' Shield win. He later joined New York City FC before its inaugural season in 2015 and advanced to Sporting Director by 2019. During his time at NYCFC, the team secured both the 2021 MLS Cup and the 2022 Campeones Cup.

Fan voting for Sporting Kansas City's annual team awards closes today. Winners will be announced Friday at Pitch Black presented by Audi at Children's Mercy Park. Fans can vote online in categories such as Goal of the Year, Save of the Year, MVP, Offensive Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, and Newcomer of the Year. Additional honors like Golden Boot and Humanitarian of the Year will also be presented.

In support of National Bullying Prevention Month, midfielder Jacob Bartlett is scheduled to visit Prairie Creek Elementary in Olathe on Tuesday for the RED CARD KC anti-bullying campaign led by Sporting KC and Children's Mercy.
