U.S. Under-15 Boys’ National Team head coach Ross Brady has announced the 18-player roster for the 2025 Concacaf Boys’ Under-15 Championship, scheduled for August 2-10 in Alajuela, Costa Rica. The roster includes Sporting KC Academy defender Luca Antongirolami. This participation aligns with U.S. Soccer’s "U.S. Way" philosophy, which aims to enhance youth national team programming and create opportunities for young players.
The USA will defend its 2023 championship title, previously won against Mexico with a score of 4-2. This year marks the fifth edition of the competition and the fourth participation by the USA, having been runner-up in 2017 and reaching the semifinals in 2019.
The U.S. is placed in League A, Group B and will play group stage matches against Saudi Arabia on August 4, Costa Rica on August 6, and Canada on August 7. Matches will be streamed on Concacaf platforms.
The selected players come from ten Major League Soccer clubs, with Chicago Fire FC contributing four players: Jason Nemo Jr., Finn McCraney, Christopher Morales, and Robert Turdean. Two players each represent Colorado Rapids, FC Dallas, LA Galaxy, Nashville FC, and St Louis City SC.
Five players have attended all four U-15 training camps since October 2024: Vinny Garcia (LA Galaxy), Alexander Hernandez Bautista (Colorado Rapids), Owen Jorgensen (St Louis City SC), Jason Nemo Jr., and Niccolo Vafiades (New York City FC). All members of the roster participated in at least one of three training camps this year under Brady's leadership.
Luca Antongirolami played up an age group during the MLS NEXT Season with Sporting KC U-16s and participated in friendlies against Mexico and Argentina earlier this year. He will return to his academy duties as preseason preparations begin for the next MLS NEXT campaign.
