Creed Humphrey, tops ESPN's ranking of interior linemen | Kansas City Chiefs
ESPN has released its annual rankings for interior linemen, highlighting Creed Humphrey as the top player in this category. The rankings, compiled by anonymous league executives, coaches, and scouts, emphasize Humphrey's exceptional performance.
"Last year, Humphrey made the case as the best overall center since Jason Kelce. Now, he's the top interior lineman thanks to consistency in the voting. He's the only one to appear on every ballot and was a top-three recipient on the majority of them," according to ESPN.
Humphrey's pass block win rate of 96.2% last season placed him sixth among all interior offensive linemen. He is recognized as a key communicator for a championship-level offense with well-known intangibles around the league.
This recognition adds to an impressive offseason for Humphrey. He ranked No. 93 in the NFL Top 100, was named Pro Football Focus’ top center, earned First-Team All-Pro honors for the first time, and was included in FOX Sports' “future half-decade team.”
Humphrey is widely regarded as the best in his field and aims to continue his strong performance into the 2025 season.
