Sporting Kansas City II is set to face The Town FC in their second and final match of the 2025 MLS NEXT Pro regular season. The game will take place on Sunday, July 13, at St. Mary's Stadium in Moraga, California, with a kickoff time of 7 p.m. CT. Fans can watch the match on MLS Season Pass via Apple TV.

In their previous encounter on May 18 at Children's Mercy Victory Field in Kansas City, Missouri, neither team managed to score. Jack Kortkamp of SKC II kept his first clean sheet of the season during that match.

This season, SKC II's offensive lineup includes seven different goal scorers. Bryan Arellano scored his first goal for SKC II against Houston Dynamo 2 in a 1-1 draw. Carter Derksen from the SKC Academy also scored his first professional goal earlier this year against MNUFC 2.

Maouloune Goumballe leads the team with three assists and recently won a penalty kick in a game against Timbers2. Medgy Alexandre has also contributed one goal this season.

Jack Kortkamp, who prevented The Town from scoring in May, leads all SKC II goalkeepers with seven games played and 29 saves. He was selected for the 2025 MLS NEXT All-Star Game after his performance for the SKC Academy and joining the U-18s at the GA Cup.

The Town FC is coached by Dan DeGeer and recently had mixed results: winning a shootout against Ventura County but losing one to Tacoma Defiance. Their top scorer is Nonso Adimabua with five goals and three assists over ten starts.

After facing The Town FC, Sporting KC II will return to Kansas City to play North Texas SC at Children's Mercy Victory Field on Friday, July 18. Tickets are available for $10 on SeatGeek.com, and the game will be broadcasted on MLS Season Pass via Apple TV.
