Former Notre Dame De Sion High School standout Lauren Ellwanger played on Friday, May 16 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division III Softball Championship

On Friday, May 16, former Notre Dame De Sion High School standout Lauren Ellwanger’s current collegiate team the Simpson Storm won 8-3 against the DePauw Tigers in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.

The game took place at Saint Mary's Softball Field at 4:05 p.m. and was the second matchup against the DePauw Tigers in the tournament.

The Simpson Storm’s next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 11 a.m. at Saint Mary's Softball Field.
