Denton Whiteside, former Rockhurst High School standout, played on Saturday, Feb. 1 in NCAA Division II baseball game

On Saturday, Feb. 1, former Rockhurst High School standout Denton Whiteside’s current college team, the Central Oklahoma Bronchos, lost 8-4 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Metro State Roadrunners.

The game took place at Wendell Simmons Field. This was their first matchup against the Roadrunners this season.

The Bronchos’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 2 at 6:30 p.m. at Wendell Simmons Field against Southeastern Oklahoma State Savage Storm.
