Today, Governor Mike Kehoe of Missouri announced several appointments to various boards and commissions. He also filled a county vacancy.
In St. Louis, Joseph Barbaglia was reappointed to the St. Louis Board of Election Commissioners. Barbaglia, the owner of Columbia Auto Parts, has served as secretary for the board since 2017. He is involved with several community and civic organizations, including the Second District Police Business Association and Toys for Tots.
Cary Corley from Lee's Summit has been appointed to the Committee of Professional Counselors. Dr. Corley, the clinical director and owner of Corley Counseling, LLC, holds counseling licenses in Missouri and Kansas. He has a Doctor of Counseling from Midwestern College and a Master's and Bachelor's degree in related fields.
Kelly Marriott of Calhoun is now appointed as the Henry County Clerk. She has been a deputy county clerk and elections coordinator for nearly 20 years. Marriott has been active in community events like the Calhoun Colt Show Committee.
Dudley McCarter, reappointed to the Coordinating Board for Higher Education, is a principal of Behr, McCarter, Neely & Gabris, P.C. specializing in litigation. McCarter has been with the board since 2019 and has history with The Missouri Bar and the St. Louis County Bar Association.
Andrew Schwartz of St. Louis was reappointed to the St. Louis Board of Election Commissioners. Schwartz is the president of AJ Adhesives, Inc. He has previously served on the St. Louis City Board of Elections from 2011 to 2016 and resumed his position in 2024.
