Jefferson City — Governor Mike Kehoe announced six appointments to various boards and commissions, alongside the appointment of the Andrew County Circuit Clerk.
Tannah Buhman from St. Joseph has been selected as the Andrew County Circuit Clerk. Ms. Buhman previously served as the interim circuit clerk for the Andrew County Circuit Court, following her role as deputy court clerk. Her past experience includes working as a patient care representative for Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph, Missouri. She is also a Certified Nurse Assistant and a Certified Medication Technician.
Paul Fitzwater from Potosi will join the Missouri Sentencing Advisory Commission. Fitzwater has been serving on the Board of Probation and Parole and is a past state representative for Iron, Washington, Wayne, and Reynolds counties. Before his public service career, he co-owned Fitzwater and Son Concrete Contracting. He also has an extensive background in education, having worked as a teacher and coach for nearly three decades. "I am honored to continue serving the people of Missouri," noted Fitzwater, an active member of the National Rifle Association and the Chamber of Commerce.
Matthew Haase of Kansas City is appointed to the Jackson County Sports Complex Authority. Haase is currently the director of strategic relations for Kansas City University. He has previously held the position of senior director of external relations at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and has dedicated 18 years to public service under former U.S. Senator Roy Blunt.
Steven Oslica from St. Louis has been chosen for the Missouri Community Service Commission. Oslica brings experience as a business consultant, previously working as executive director of the Hawthorn Foundation for Missouri. His career spans over 30 years, including global marketing roles for Pittsburgh Corning Corporation and H.B. Fuller.
Victor Pasley of Columbia was reappointed to the Lincoln University Board of Curators. His career includes 32 years with Xerox Corporation, alongside roles in education and military service. Pasley has served on the board since 2019.
Richard Popp from Tebbetts is reappointed to the Lincoln University Board of Curators. Popp, a retired Executive Vice President at Central Bank, has been a board member for six years. "It’s a privilege to keep contributing to Lincoln University’s journey," Popp affirmed regarding his reappointment.
Finally, John M. Raines of Senath has been appointed to the University of Missouri Board of Curators. Raines recently retired as president of TELUS Ag & Consumer Goods. His near four-decade-long leadership in agriculture makes him a valuable addition to the board.
Governor Kehoe expressed confidence in all the appointees, believing they would serve with dedication and commitment in their respective roles.
