Governor Mike Kehoe has announced several appointments, including a new Associate Circuit Judge for the 21st Judicial Circuit and members for various boards and commissions.
Justin W. Ruth from University City will serve as the Associate Circuit Judge for Saint Louis County in the 21st Judicial Circuit. Ruth is currently a principal attorney at Riezman Berger, PC. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Virginia and a Juris Doctor from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis. Ruth is involved with multiple bar associations and was previously appointed by the Supreme Court of Missouri to the OCDC Disciplinary Committee for Region XL. He fills the vacancy left by retired Honorable Nancy Watkins McLaughlin.
Alfred Brandt of Linn has been appointed to the State Milk Board. Brandt was formerly an owner of Brandt Dairy Farms and has served on the State Milk Board since 2009, including as president from 2011 to 2024. He is also part of the Holstein Association USA Board and St. George Parish Council.
Louise Secker from Joplin joins the Missouri Community Service Commission. She works as a real estate salesperson for Keller Williams Realty Elevate and has held leadership roles with Jasper County CASA, Joplin Regional Community Foundation, and Mount Hope Cemetery.
Jennifer Keller from Lee's Summit becomes a member of the State Committee of Psychologists. Keller is a licensed psychologist serving as Senior Director of Behavioral Health at University Health and holds several academic positions at UMKC School of Medicine.
Timothy Flora from Ellisville will join the Missouri State Board of Private Investigators and Private Fire Investigator Examiners. Flora is President and Certified Licensed Polygraph Examiner at Mid-West Protective Service, Inc., with over four decades in law enforcement, investigation, and fire safety roles.
