Today in Jefferson City, Missouri's Electoral College members convened at the Missouri State Capitol to cast their votes for the President and Vice President of the United States. All ten electors from Missouri unanimously voted for President-elect Donald Trump and Vice President-elect JD Vance.

Governor Parson expressed confidence in the state's election process, stating, "All Missourians can be confident in the legitimacy of their vote and take pride in the security of our elections here in Missouri." He also extended gratitude to those involved in the electoral process, including poll workers, electors, county clerks, and Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft's Office.

Before this meeting, Governor Parson signed Certificates of Ascertainment on December 9. These documents certified an abstract of votes from each county during the General Election and confirmed that Missouri's electors were qualified to participate in the Electoral College. The certificates were attested by Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft and sent to the Archivist of the United States.

The Electoral College met across all 50 states and Washington D.C., with Missouri's session held publicly in the Senate Lounge at the Capitol. The meeting started at 2:00 p.m., led by Office of Administration Commissioner Ken Zellers. Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft announced the official vote count while media representatives and public attendees observed.

A recording of this event is available on Missouri's Facebook page, with photos accessible on Governor Parson's Flickr page.
