The Kansas City Museum is set to feature a new conversational AI video project involving Sonia Warshawski, a Holocaust survivor, businesswoman, and great-grandmother known affectionately as Big Sonia. This project aligns with other initiatives such as the "Dimensions In Testimony" projects at the USC Shoah Foundation.

Leah Warshawski, Impact Producer and Director of Inflatable Film and granddaughter of Sonia, is collaborating with the museum to launch this AI media experience in 2025. The exhibit will be located on the third floor of Corinthian Hall in the gallery titled "Our City, Our Stories."

The Kansas City Museum aims to be the first in the United States to showcase this type of AI media experience. The initiative includes creating educational materials using restorative practices methodology.

Funding efforts for the project are underway, with a significant contribution already received from the Barton P. Cohen and Mary Davidson Cohen Charitable Trust through Midwest Trust Company. Those interested in contributing can contact Paul Gutiérrez, Deputy Director of Visitor Experience & Public Engagement, at pgutierrez@kansascitymuseum.org.
