Sporting Kansas City II has signed Jack Francka, a player from the Sporting Kansas City Academy, to an MLS NEXT Pro amateur contract. The agreement comes ahead of the team's final regular season match against MNUFC 2 on Sunday.

The amateur contract is for a single game and allows Francka to maintain his NCAA eligibility. He will be available for selection in Sunday's match, which is scheduled for 3 p.m. CT at National Sports Center Stadium.

Jack Francka, who was born and raised in Lee's Summit, Missouri, joined the Sporting KC Academy Center of Excellence in 2016. Since then, he has played as both a midfielder and defender across all age groups within the academy system. He currently plays with the U-18s and previously captained the U-16s at several major events during the 2024-25 MLS NEXT season.

Interim head coach Ike Opara will lead SKC II into their final regular season game on Sunday. The match will air on MLS Season Pass via Apple TV and takes place alongside other Western Conference games as part of MLS NEXT Pro Decision Day.
