Governor Mike Kehoe has named four individuals to serve on the Child Abuse and Neglect Review Board, according to an announcement made in Jefferson City.
Nicole Barrett of Stockton will join the board. Barrett serves as chief juvenile officer for the 28th Judicial Circuit and owns Barrett Law, LLC. She previously managed Springfield Law Group, LLC. Barrett holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri School of Law and a certificate in dispute resolution.
Bridget Foster from St. Louis has also been appointed. Foster is a therapeutic foster parent who provides trauma-informed care to children. She has experience as a customer service senior at United Healthcare and participates in committees such as St. Louis Foster Care and Adoption and Vashon Alumni. Foster also served on the System of Care - St. Louis Board.
Stefanie Kaiser of St. Peters joins the board with experience as a retired detective from the Saint Charles Police Department and former commercial sexual exploitation coordinator for the Child Advocacy Center of Northeast Missouri. Kaiser is involved with organizations like the Missouri Coalition to End Trafficking and Exploitation, American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children, and Missouri Polygraph Association. She holds certification from Missouri Peace Officer Standards and Training.
Monica Walker from Stewartsville has been reappointed to her position on the board. Walker works as lead employee relations specialist at American Family Insurance, sits on Second Harvest’s finance committee, and previously served as chair and treasurer for that organization’s board. Her background includes serving eight years as president of Stewartsville C-11 school board and volunteering as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA).
