Governor Kehoe announces appointments to boards, commissions; fills county vacancy

Governor Mike Kehoe has announced the appointment of eleven individuals to various boards and commissions, along with filling a county vacancy. Among those reappointed is Beth Banker from Kansas City, who will continue her role on the Child Abuse and Neglect Board. Banker holds a master's degree in social work from Boston University.

Cary Corley, Ph.D., of Lee’s Summit, has been appointed to the Committee of Professional Counselors. Corley owns Corley Counseling, LLC and has a Doctorate of Counseling Psychology from Midwestern College.

Sarah Chapman from Auxvasse will serve as the student representative on the Southeast Missouri State University Board of Governors. She is currently pursuing a double major in English and music at the university.

Jeffery Davis of Wardsville joins the Southeast Missouri State University Board of Governors. Davis is BNSF Railway's executive director of Government Affairs and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Southeast Missouri State University.

Lee Harris, Ph.D., based in Independence, was appointed to the Committee of Professional Counselors. Harris owns AHA Mental Health and earned his Doctorate of Behavioral Health from Arizona State University.

Todd Hays from Monroe City continues his service on the Missouri State Fair Commission. He operates a hog operation and row crop farm and studied Business Marketing at Moberly Area Community College.

Jared Hill from Kansas City was also appointed to the Missouri State Fair Commission. Hill is president of Mainline Services LLC and participates actively in community initiatives like Eagle Scout Troop 249.

Megan Hill has been named Bollinger County Clerk after serving as deputy recorder for Bollinger County Courthouse. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from National American University.

Matthew Kliethermes, Ph.D., returns to the Child Abuse and Neglect Review Board. Kliethermes works as a clinical professor at the University of Missouri – St. Louis with a doctorate in clinical psychology from St. Louis University.

Monica Lyle joins the Child Abuse and Neglect Review Board as well. Lyle serves as a counselor for Salem R-80 School District and obtained her master’s degree in counseling from Missouri Baptist University.

Lesia Shelton remains part of the Governor’s Council on Disability while providing employment services for Preferred Family Healthcare.

Jonathan Truesdale has been appointed to Lincoln University's Board of Curators. Truesdale practices law at Truesdale Law, LLC, specializing in criminal defense among other areas, with his Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.
