Arrowhead Events, the special events division of the Kansas City Chiefs, has announced Battle Sports as the title sponsor for the Kansas City Classic. This newly established college football event will take place at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. The inaugural game will feature a matchup between the University of Cincinnati Bearcats and the University of Nebraska Cornhuskers.

The Kansas City Classic aims to become a significant tradition in college football, enhancing the stadium's reputation for hosting major games and highlighting its commitment to high-quality events in Kansas City.

The 2025 Battle Sports Kansas City Classic is scheduled for August 28th at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. The primetime Thursday night event will start at 8 p.m. CT and be broadcasted on ESPN. Tickets can be purchased through www.chiefs.com/tickets/ or www.ticketmaster.com.

Arrowhead Events aims to make GEHA Field an entertainment hub serving all of Midwest America by hosting diverse events beyond professional football games since its major renovations in 2010.
