The Kansas City Chiefs have launched the second season of their all-Spanish-language docuseries, "Viva Chiefs Kingdom," now available on the team's official YouTube channel. This two-part series, produced in collaboration with 65 Toss Power Trap Productions, Forca Studio, and Samba Digital, aims to further expand the Chiefs' brand and promote football internationally.

This season focuses on a new group of passionate fans in Mexico during the 2024 NFL campaign as they support the team in its pursuit of a third consecutive Super Bowl title. Lara Krug, Chiefs Executive Vice President and Chief Media and Marketing Officer, expressed enthusiasm about showcasing these fans: "Chiefs fans in Kansas City and around the world are passionate, dedicated, and deeply engaged – and that's especially true of our fans in Mexico."

The series initially launched in 2024 as part of the team's effort to create long-form international content that highlights emotional connections within Chiefs Kingdom globally. Izamná Crail Romero from NFL Mexico praised this initiative: "We are thrilled about the launch of the second season... This initiative reflects the strong commitment of the Kansas City Chiefs to connect more deeply with their fanbase in Mexico."

Season two features fans from cities such as Mexico City, Guadalajara, and Monterrey. Episode one explores how fandom creates familial bonds beyond blood ties. Episode two follows these fans through an exciting playoff run.

"Viva Chiefs Kingdom" is part of a broader strategy to engage Spanish-speaking audiences worldwide. In 2024, the team rebranded its social media accounts for Mexican audiences into fully Spanish-language channels on Instagram and TikTok (@chiefsespanol), leading among NFL clubs with similar accounts.

The Chiefs hold International Home Marketing Area rights across several countries including Mexico under the NFL's Global Markets Program. They have played regular-season games internationally in London (2015), Mexico City (2019), Frankfurt (2023), becoming pioneers by winning games in four different countries.

In September 2025, they will add São Paulo to this list by playing against AFC West rival Los Angeles Chargers at Corinthians Arena.
