Inside the gymnasium of Ewing Marion Kauffman High School in Kansas City, Missouri, 620 teenagers gathered as part of an internship program. These young individuals were hired at a March hiring fair organized by ProX, a nonprofit supported by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation. The initiative aims to provide real-life work experiences for teens from underserved communities.
