Governor Mike Kehoe has announced the appointment of twelve individuals to various boards and commissions. The appointments cover a range of areas, including health, disability services, and education.
Casey Burton, Ph.D., from St. James, joins the State Board of Health and Senior Services. He is currently the executive director of research and governmental affairs at Phelps Health in Rolla, Missouri. Burton also holds a position as an adjunct assistant professor at Missouri University of Science and Technology.
James Carter Jr., from St. Charles, has been appointed to the Missouri Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Carter is an Advanced American Sign Language Interpreter with certifications in both Illinois and Missouri.
Earl Crawford from Excelsior Springs will continue his role on the Governor’s Council on Disability. He serves as executive director at Missouri Inclusive Housing Development Corporation.
Betty Davidson, Ph.D., based in St. Louis, has been reappointed to the Governor's Council on Disability. She is known for her work in disability studies and inclusive practices.
Aaron Durso from Taneyville has been appointed to the Governor’s Council on Disability. Durso serves as Bull Creek Village Clerk and is a disabled veteran of the United States Air Force.
Ronald Hack from Sunset Hills will continue his service on the Governor's Council on Disability. Hack is a retired lawyer with extensive community volunteer experience.
Katie Jones from St. Peters remains part of the Governor's Council on Disability as chief program officer for Boone Center Inc.
Jennifer Meyer from O’Fallon joins the Governor’s Council on Disability as principal at J. Meyer Strategies with prior political field operations experience.
Susan Orton from St. Louis continues her role on the Governor’s Council on Disability while working as a realtor with Coldwell Banker Realty – Gundaker.
Paul Ogier from Chesterfield has been appointed to the Health and Educational Facilities Authority of Missouri as a retired CPA offering consulting services to not-for-profits in senior housing industries.
Jill Wedemeier from Leopold retains her position on the Child Abuse and Neglect Review Board while serving as a judicial assistant for the U.S District Court for Eastern District of Missouri.
Claire West from Jefferson City continues her service with LAGERS Board of Trustees after retiring from Claire West Consulting LLC where she specialized in retirement consulting services.
