ESPN has recently unveiled its "All-Quarter Century Team," and the Kansas City Chiefs have a notable presence on the list. The team comprises 53 players, three coordinators, and a head coach, with eight representatives from the Chiefs.

The Chiefs' current quarterback Patrick Mahomes is ranked as the third quarterback behind Tom Brady and Peyton Manning. At 29, Mahomes has already achieved five AFC titles and three Super Bowl victories. His postseason record includes 17 wins, second only to Brady. He also holds records for passing yards and touchdowns through 112 games.

Tight end Travis Kelce is recognized as the second tight end on ESPN's list. Kelce's consistent performance over nine seasons with at least 80 receptions each year is unmatched in NFL history. Only Tony Gonzalez and Jason Witten surpass him in career catches and receiving yards among tight ends.

Defensive tackle Chris Jones ranks third in his position behind Aaron Donald and Calais Campbell. According to Aaron Schatz of ESPN, Jones would have led in pass rush win rate if not for Donald’s existence.

Special Teams Coordinator Dave Toub also features prominently due to his contribution to Kansas City's success. Seth Walder notes Toub’s streak of top-five special teams units from 2006 to 2017 as particularly impressive.

Former players include running back Priest Holmes, who was acknowledged for his exceptional performance from 2001 to 2003, accumulating over 6,500 scrimmage yards and scoring 61 touchdowns during that period.

Tight end Tony Gonzalez is listed after Rob Gronkowski and Kelce based on his all-time leading catches (1,325) and receiving yards (15,127) among tight ends.

Defensive end Jared Allen is recognized for his significant impact during his tenure with the Chiefs from 2004-07, where he recorded the second-highest sack total in the league.

Cornerback Darrelle Revis rounds out the Chiefs’ representation as ESPN’s top-ranked cornerback despite spending only part of one season with Kansas City in 2017.
