The Kansas City Chiefs have announced the opening of nominations for the Lamar Hunt Legacy Seat for the 2025 NFL season at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. Nominations can be submitted through their website.

Chiefs Season Ticket Members and individuals from Chiefs Kingdom globally are invited to nominate other Season Ticket Members, fans, and community leaders who embody the spirit of Lamar Hunt and align with the team's core values: Win with Character, Honor Tradition, Inspire our Fans, and Unite the Community.

The Lamar Hunt Legacy Seat was established in 2019 to commemorate the franchise's 60th season. During each home game, an individual is publicly recognized with this honor in front of the stadium crowd for their dedication to supporting the community. Honorees also receive a VIP pregame experience.

"We are continually in awe of what Chiefs fans do to support our community, and it's that giving spirit that reflects just one of the many qualities that made our founder, Lamar Hunt, so special," stated Jayne Martin, Chiefs Vice President of Fan Experience. "We've been able to recognize so many extraordinary people over the years and we're excited to open the nomination process for this unique honor and recognition during the 2025 football season."

Two gold seats – one for honoree and one for a guest – are located in section 121 of the lower bowl beneath Lamar Hunt's name in the team's Ring of Honor. Since its inception in 2019, nearly 70 individuals have been honored across preseason, regular season, and postseason games at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. A list of past honorees since 2022 is available on their website.
