On Tuesday, March 18, former Oak Park High School standout Carter Poole’s current college team, the Incarnate Word Cardinals, won 4-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Rice Owls.

The game took place at Reckling Park. This was their first matchup against the Owls this season.

The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 19 at 6 p.m. at Lee-Hines Stadium against Southern Jaguars.
