A man from Grandview, Missouri, has been sentenced to 15 years in federal prison for his involvement in a fentanyl distribution conspiracy. Andrew R.A. Williams, 24, received the sentence from U.S. District Judge Roseann Ketchmark and will serve his time without parole.

Williams pleaded guilty on July 31, 2024, to charges of conspiracy to distribute fentanyl and possession of firearms related to drug trafficking activities. He was associated with Tiger Dean Draggoo from Kansas City, Missouri, who supplied him with approximately 11,120 fentanyl pills between February and November 2022. Draggoo has also pleaded guilty and awaits sentencing on August 7, 2025.

In addition to working with Draggoo, Williams provided fentanyl pills to Alexander Barnett of Lee’s Summit, Missouri. Between April 1, 2022, and March 5, 2023, Williams sold at least 418 pills to Barnett for about $5,467. Barnett has already been sentenced to 78 months in federal prison without parole as of January 30, 2025.

A search warrant executed by the Jackson County Drug Task Force on April 19, 2023, led to the discovery of seven fentanyl pills in Williams’ hotel room along with psilocybin mushrooms weighing approximately 6.13 grams. Authorities also found a Springfield Armory XD-9 semi-automatic handgun and a Girsan .45 caliber semi-automatic handgun along with ammunition and $1,220 in cash.

Assistant U.S. Attorneys Brad K. Kavanaugh and Robert Smith are prosecuting the case following an investigation by multiple agencies including the Jackson County Drug Task Force and the FBI.
