Children's Mercy has announced plans for a new healthcare facility in Wichita. The institution, based in Kansas City, revealed it will develop an 18,000-square-foot, multi-specialty ambulatory clinic near 29th Street North and Greenwich Road. This location is east of Col. James Jabara Airport, north of the TopGolf facility, and adjacent to the proposed Community National Bank & Trust regional banking center.

This expansion is anticipated to be operational by the summer of 2026. Currently, Children's Mercy operates more than 30 specialty clinics within the Wesley Medical Arts Building in Wichita.

Alejandro Quiroga, CEO and president of Children's Mercy, stated that the new clinic "deepens our promise" to enhance children's health services in the region.
