Grellner earned her political science degree and Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri.

Kurt D. Marquart, from Lee's Summit, completes the trio of new appointees to the commission. A retired attorney with a private practice since 1991, Marquart previously worked as a Missouri State Highway Patrolman. He is affiliated with several legal associations and serves on the board for MASTERS. His educational background includes law enforcement studies at Southeast Missouri State University and a law degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
