Governor Mike Kehoe has signed the Fiscal Year 2025 supplemental budget bill, known as HB 14, into law. The legislation was passed by the General Assembly last week and ensures that state government operations will continue through FY 2025.

"This supplemental bill reflects our commitment to ensuring critical services continue uninterrupted for Missourians," stated Governor Kehoe. "From strengthening education and special needs services to supporting law enforcement and senior care, this funding will make a meaningful impact on communities across our state."

The total allocation of HB 14 exceeds $1.9 billion, with $391.5 million sourced from general revenue, $1.4 billion from federal funds, and $183.4 million from other funds. Key allocations include:

- $14 million for services provided to Missouri seniors, such as home-delivered meals, transportation, and in-home services.

- $157.4 million directed towards supporting the Foundation Formula for public schools.

- $20.8 million allocated for special education instruction and related services for children with disabilities aged 3-5.

- $16.5 million designated for the First Steps program.

- $250,000 set aside for immigration enforcement training under Executive Order 25-04.

- $187,500 along with staff support allocated to ensure full-time Division of Drug and Crime Control (DDCC) investigators are present within each of the nine MSHP troop regions.

Further details on HB 14 can be found through official state resources.
