Jefferson City — Governor Kehoe has made new judicial appointments for the 21st and 9th Judicial Circuits.

Ellen W. Dunne, from Des Peres, has been appointed as the Circuit Judge in the 21st Judicial Circuit. Currently serving as Associate Circuit Judge for the same circuit since 2017, she holds a Juris Doctor from Saint Louis University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Missouri. Before her judicial role, she practiced law for over twenty years handling civil matters. She is actively involved with several legal associations including the Missouri Bar Association and Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis. This appointment fills the vacancy left by Judge Nancy M. Watkins McLaughlin's retirement.

Adam Warren, from Chillicothe, has been appointed as the Associate Circuit Judge for Sullivan County in the 9th Judicial Circuit. Warren has been Livingston County's prosecuting attorney since 2011 and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri School of Law along with a Bachelor of Science in hospitality and restaurant administration from Missouri State University. He previously ran his private practice at Warren Law Office, LLC, and served in the Missouri Army National Guard until 2011 when he was honorably discharged. His appointment follows the passing of Judge Tracey Mason-White.
