Bishop Johnston has announced a series of clergy assignments set to take effect on July 1, 2024. These new appointments will replace the current assignments which conclude on June 30, 2024.

Rev. Matthew Bartulica has been appointed Parochial Administrator of Sacred Heart Parish, Hamilton. He will continue his assignments as Chaplain at the Abbey of Our Lady of Ephesus, Gower, and Pastor of St. Joseph Parish, Easton. His assignment as Pastor of St. James Parish, St. Joseph will come to an end.

Rev. Joseph Cisetti's assignment as Parochial Administrator at St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, Gladstone is set to conclude.

Rev. Jonathan Davis has been appointed Parochial Administrator of St. James Parish, St. Joseph while retaining his current assignment as Pastor of St. Patrick Parish, St. Joseph.

Rev. Kevin Drew has been appointed Pastor of St. Ann Parish, Plattsburg and will retain his assignment as Pastor of St. Ann Parish, Excelsior Springs while concluding his assignment as Pastor of Immaculate Conception Parish, Richmond.

Rev. Benjamin Fenlon has been assigned sacramental and pastoral ministry at St. Patrick and St. James Parishes in St.Joseph and he will continue his offices as Parochial Vicar of Cathedral of St.Joseph and St.Mary Parish in the same city.

Rev.William Fox has been appointed Parochial Administrator of three parishes: St.Mary Parish in Carrollton; Immaculate Conception Parish in Richmond; and Sacred Heart Mission in Norborne.

Rev.Adam Haake has been assigned as Co-Chaplain to City On A Hill while retaining his assignment as Pastor of St.Margaret Parish in Lee’s Summit but concluding his assignment as Chaplain of Catholic Campus Ministry at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Rev.Thomas Holder's assignment as Parochial Administrator at St.John Francis Regis Parish in Kansas City is set to conclude.

Rev.Mr.Samuel Horan has been appointed Parochial Vicar of St.Andrew the Apostle Parish in Gladstone.

Rev.Kendall Ketterlin has been appointed Pastor of St.Mary Parish in Independence.

Rev.Garrett King has been appointed Parochial Administrator of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in St.Joseph, concluding his assignment as Parochial Vicar of St.Andrew the Apostle Parish in Gladstone.

Rev.Timothy Leete has been appointed Parochial Administrator of four parishes: St.Joseph in Trenton; Blessed Sacrament Parish in Bethany; Mary Immaculate Parish in Gallatin; and Immaculate Heart of Mary Mission in Princeton. He will conclude his assignment as Chaplain at the Jeanne Jugan Center, Kansas City.

Rev.Emmanuel Garduño López has been appointed Parochial Administrator of St.John Francis Regis Parish, Kansas City.

Rev.Christian Malewski will conclude his term as Pastor at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, St.Joseph and transition to Spiritual Director at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary.

Rev.Andrew Mattingly will conclude his term as Co-Chaplain to City On A Hill.

Rev.Ralph Obetia, AJ has been appointed Parochial Vicar of St.Peter Parish, Kansas City and will serve on the diocesan Tribunal.

Rev.George Palliparambil has been appointed Parochial Vicar of St.John LaLande Parish, Blue Springs.

Rev.Paul Sappington has been assigned Chaplain of Catholic Campus Ministry at the University of Missouri-Kansas City while retaining his current assignment as Chaplain of St.Michael the Archangel High School, Lee’s Summit.

Rev.Eric Schneider has been appointed Parochial Administrator of St.Andrew the Apostle Parish, Gladstone and will conclude his assignment as Pastor of St.Ann Parish, Plattsburg.

Rev.Luis Felipe Suarez has been appointed Pastor of Sacred Heart-Guadalupe, Kansas City.

Rev.Pius Wesonga, AJ has been appointed Parochial Vicar of St.Thomas More Parish, Kansas City.

Following his May 18 ordination to the Holy Order of Diaconate, Mr.Ethan Osborn has been assigned to assist the Pastor of St.John LaLande Parish in Blue Springs as his studies allow.

Further clergy assignments effective from July 31, 2024 include Rev.James Caime, SJ concluding his term as Pastor at St.Francis Xavier Parish in Kansas City.

Finally, effective from August 1, 2024 Rev.Donald Farnan has been appointed Pastor of St.Francis Xavier Parish in Kansas City while retaining his assignments as Parochial Administrator of St.James and St.Therese Little Flower Parishes in Kansas City.
