Governor Parson Announces 23 Appointments to Various Boards and Commissions

Governor Mike Parson has made a significant announcement today, appointing 23 individuals to various boards and commissions in the state of Missouri.

Among the appointees is Victoria Babb of St. Peters, who has been appointed to the Missouri Community Service Commission. Ms. Babb brings a wealth of experience, currently serving as community resource director for Cunningham Recreation and running the Play 4 ALL division.

Ann Marie Baker from Springfield has been appointed to the State Highways and Transportation Commission. Ms. Baker, who serves as executive vice president of UMB Bank in Springfield, holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration with an emphasis in finance and banking.

Taylor Burks, hailing from Hartsburg, has been appointed to the Truman State University Board of Governors. Mr. Burks, who serves as director of strategic planning in the U.S. Navy Reserves, holds impressive academic credentials including a Master of Accounting and a Master of Arts in administrative leadership.

Winston Calvert, from University City, has been appointed to the Bi-State Development Agency of the Missouri-Illinois Metropolitan District. Mr. Calvert's background includes managing a private consulting firm and serving in various leadership roles in both business and nonprofit sectors.

Dr. Maureen Clancy-May, based in St. Louis, has been appointed to the Southeast Missouri State University Board of Governors. Dr. Clancy-May currently serves as state supervisor for the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education’s Office of Quality Schools.

Ed Elder of Kansas City has been appointed to the Kansas City Board of Police Commissioners. Mr. Elder, who serves as president of Colliers in Kansas City, has a Bachelor of Science in business administration.

Dr. Tawni Ferrarini, a resident of St. Charles, has been appointed to the State Board of Education. Dr. Ferrarini is a professor of economic education at Lindenwood University and has a strong background in academia.

Reverend Darryl Gray from St. Louis has been appointed to the Missouri Workforce Development Board. Reverend Gray serves as a pastor at Greater Fairfax Baptist Church and as a consultant at Gray and Gray Associates LLC.

Rodney Hendricks, from Jerico Springs, has been appointed to the Missouri Southern State University Board of Governors. Mr. Hendricks owns and operates a cow-calf operation and has previous experience in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineer's management office.

Tracy Henke of Chesterfield has been appointed to the Missouri Workforce Development Board. Ms. Henke currently serves as deputy executive director and COO of St. Louis Regional Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Center.

Dr. Daniel Isom, based in St. Louis, has been appointed to the Bi-State Development Agency of the Missouri-Illinois Metropolitan District. Dr. Isom serves as a professor at the University of Missouri–St. Louis.

Lyda Krewson of St. Louis has been appointed to the University of Missouri Board of Curators. Ms. Krewson previously served as mayor of the City of St. Louis and as an alderman for the City of St. Louis.

Dudley McCarter, from Clayton, has been appointed to the Coordinating Board for Higher Education. Mr. McCarter has a long history of service, including as a principal of Behr, McCarter & Potter, P.C.

Mattea Miller of Springfield has been appointed as the student representative to the Missouri State University Board of Governors. Ms. Miller is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in communication, political science, and press politics.

John Mitchell, a resident of Kansas City, has been appointed to the Public Service Commission. Mr. Mitchell brings a wealth of experience as a civil engineer at Burns and McDonnell Engineering Co., Inc.

Jerel Poor II, from Bonne Terre, has been appointed to the Administrative Hearing Commission. Mr. Poor serves as circuit judge for the 24th Judicial Circuit.

Dr. Thomas Prater, based in Springfield, has been appointed to the State Board of Education. Dr. Prater is a partner physician at Mattax, Neu, and Prater Eye Center.

Senator Greg Razer, representing Kansas City, has been appointed to the State Tax Commission. Senator Razer currently serves as a Missouri State Senator for the 7th District.

Jeremy Schneider from Atlanta has been appointed to the Missouri Ethics Commission. Mr. Schneider serves as director of aftermarket–sales for Sydenstricker Nobbe in Macon.

Louise Secker, residing in Joplin, has been appointed to the Missouri Community Service Commission. Ms. Secker serves as a realtor for the Carlin Team at Keller Williams Realty.

Katie Sinquefield of Columbia has been appointed to the Public Defenders Commission. Ms. Sinquefield has a strong background in public administration and policy.

Whitney Smith from Des Peres has been appointed to the Missouri Ethics Commission. Ms. Smith brings 11 years of experience from the Boeing Company in St. Louis.

Amy Westermann of Walnut Grove has been appointed to the Administrative Hearing Commission. Ms. Westermann currently serves as chief counsel for the State Tax Commission of Missouri.

These appointments cover a wide range of fields and expertise, bringing a diverse range of perspectives to the boards and commissions in the state of Missouri.
