Sporting Kansas City’s first team, second team, and Academy teams are scheduled to travel to Minnesota this weekend for matches against Minnesota United FC. The club’s first team will play its final away game of the season at Allianz Field in St. Paul on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. CT. Fans can watch the Western Conference match on MLS Season Pass via Apple TV or attend a watch party at No Other Pub in the Kansas City Power & Light District, where special deals will be available for fans wearing Sporting KC gear starting at 5:30 p.m.

In recognition of National Bullying Prevention Month, Sporting Kansas City and Children’s Mercy are collaborating on the Red Card KC anti-bullying campaign. Players will visit local schools throughout the week: Manu Garcia is set to appear at Oak Grove Elementary in Kansas City, Kansas; Cielo Tschantret will speak with students at East Antioch Elementary in Overland Park, Kansas; Nati Clarke is scheduled for Dayton Creek Elementary in Spring Hill, Kansas; and Ryan Schewe will participate in an assembly at Leawood Middle School in Leawood, Kansas.

Fan voting for Sporting Kansas City’s annual team awards opens today at noon and runs through Monday, October 6, on SportingKC.com. Winners will be announced during Pitch Black presented by Audi on Friday, October 10, at Children’s Mercy Park.

On Tuesday, Sporting Kansas City, The Victory Project, and Children’s Mercy will host an event at the Kansas State School for the Blind in Kansas City, Kansas. The event includes a Red Card KC anti-bullying assembly and a blind soccer mini clinic led by coaches and athletes from the school. In 2024, The Victory Project contributed over $32,000 to help build the Midwest's first blind soccer pitch at the school. This facility allows visually impaired athletes to play soccer using a sound-enabled ball and sidewalls as part of ongoing efforts to promote accessibility and inclusion.

Additionally, fans have until 10:59 p.m. CT tonight to use code MLS49 for free shipping on orders over $49 at MLSstore.com as part of Jersey Week promotions that include up to 50% off select Sporting Kansas City jerseys and pre-match tops.

The Sporting KC Academy continues its MLS NEXT campaign with three matches against Minnesota United FC’s youth teams on Saturday at the National Sports Center in Blaine, Minnesota. Matches begin with the U-18s at 10 a.m., followed by U-16s at noon and U-15s at 2 p.m.

Sporting KC II wraps up its MLS NEXT Pro season Sunday with a match against MNUFC2 also held in Blaine. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m., with coverage available via MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.
