The Kansas City Chiefs have partnered with Brazilian pop artist Luísa Sonza to release a Portuguese version of their fan anthem, "Red Kingdom." The new track, titled "Red Kingdom BR," adapts the original song by Kansas City rapper Tech N9ne and is now available on major digital platforms alongside an official music video.

The project aims to connect the Chiefs' brand with fans in Brazil by blending the team's identity with Brazilian funk and trap music. Luísa Sonza said, "It's so special to put my own touch on Tech N9ne's song, which means so much to Chiefs fans. Mixing that pure Kansas City energy with Brazilian rhythms was such a unique experience. I can now say I'm officially part of the Chiefs family too. Vai Chiefs!"

Tech N9ne, who created the original anthem, expressed support for the collaboration: "'Red Kingdom' has been at the heart of KC fandom for years now. I'm so happy to share my song with the team I've always loved as they move to an even BIGGER global stage. And it's beautiful hearing it re-imagined by a female artist who embodies a whole different culture and energy – L9VE where Luísa took it!"

The initiative is part of the Chiefs' strategy to expand their international presence and position themselves as a leading sports and entertainment brand. Lara Krug, Executive Vice President and Chief Media and Marketing Officer for the Kansas City Chiefs, said, "We are on a culture-first mission to make sure Chiefs Kingdom is heard around the world, and our next stop is Brazil. Partnering with a global superstar like Luísa to bring her authentically Brazilian vision to Tech's anthem is an exciting way to connect fans through music and passion. From stadium tailgates to home watch parties, 'Red Kingdom' has become the soundtrack of our fans – now it's resonating across the globe."

This collaboration comes ahead of the NFL's second-ever regular-season game in Brazil, where the four-time Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs will play against AFC West rival Los Angeles Chargers on September 5 at Neo Química Arena in São Paulo. This will be the first time the Chiefs play in Brazil; fans can watch via YouTube and YouTube TV.

To further engage supporters in Brazil, the team will host "Chiefs House" events on September 4 and 5 featuring exclusive experiences such as exhibits about team history, Kansas City-style barbecue, and fan challenges. Although tickets are sold out, a virtual waiting list remains open at https://www.chiefs.com/brazil/.

The release of "Red Kingdom BR" reflects broader efforts by sports franchises like the Chiefs to create content that appeals beyond traditional football audiences.
