Sporting KC nears full roster for home match against Colorado Rapids

Sporting Kansas City will play at home against the Colorado Rapids on Saturday night at Children’s Mercy Park. The team has received positive news ahead of the match, with Joaquin Fernandez and Erik Thommy returning to full training. In addition, Alan Montes and Memo Rodriguez are back with the squad after taking time away following the birth of their children.

According to the official Player Status Report submitted before each match, Sporting Kansas City lists only one player out: midfielder Manu Garcia due to a quad injury. No players are listed as questionable for this game.

For the Colorado Rapids, defender Reggie Cannon is suspended. Midfielder Josh Atencio (knee) and forward Kimani Stewart-Baynes (ankle) are also unavailable.
