Jackson County has launched a new Public Property Portal aimed at enhancing public access to property information for both residential and commercial properties within the county. The portal allows users to search assessment records for real and personal property, aiming to provide a streamlined and convenient method for residents to access publicly available property data.

"We are committed to increasing transparency and making it easier for residents to access the information they need," stated Jackson County Executive Frank White, Jr. "This portal represents a significant step toward more user-friendly government services."

Jackson County Assessor Gail McCann Beatty added, "This new portal is part of our ongoing efforts to modernize the assessment process and make information more accessible to the public. We’re excited to roll out this tool and provide residents with improved access to the data they rely on."

The portal includes features such as viewing 2022 and 2025 property values under the "Values" tab, along with options for printing copies of impact notices and property record cards. However, users should be aware that these records are updated as changes occur in the system, which may result in variations depending on when they are printed.

While offering convenient access, the tool is not intended as an official or certified source of legal property documentation. Future updates may enhance its performance, design, and functionality. The Public Property Access Portal is now operational and accessible at publicaccess.jacksongov.org.
