A Springfield man has been indicted by a federal grand jury for allegedly exploiting two minors. Connor Wilson Zacha, 28, faces charges in a three-count indictment issued in Springfield, Missouri.

The indictment accuses Zacha of using a minor, referred to as Jane Doe 1, to produce child pornography between November 1, 2022, and November 15, 2023. Additionally, it alleges that he used another minor, identified as Jane Doe 2, for similar purposes from October 1, 2023, to April 18, 2024. Furthermore, Zacha is charged with transporting Jane Doe 2 across state lines with the intent of engaging in criminal sexual activity.

It is important to note that these charges are accusations and not evidence of guilt. The responsibility of determining guilt or innocence lies with a federal trial jury after evaluating the evidence presented.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Ami Harshad Miller is prosecuting the case. The investigation was conducted by Homeland Security Investigations and the Greene County Sheriff's Department in Missouri.

This case falls under Project Safe Childhood, an initiative launched by the Department of Justice in May 2006. The project aims to combat child sexual exploitation and abuse through collaboration among federal, state, and local resources to prosecute offenders and rescue victims. More information about Project Safe Childhood can be found on the Department of Justice's website.
