Jackson County has announced that property tax bills for 2024 are now accessible online. Residents can view and pay their taxes through myJacksonCounty, the county's official online platform.

The announcement clarifies that those who have already settled their taxes or no longer own property in Jackson County can disregard this notification, which is intended as a general public service message.

For payments made via credit or debit card on myJacksonCounty, a processing fee of 2.75% per transaction will apply. However, Jackson County will cover the $1.25 processing fee for ACH payments completed before the deadline of 11:40 pm on December 31st. Additionally, all transactions conducted through myJacksonCounty's online, mobile, and IVR systems will incur a $2.00 convenience fee.

It is important to note that any payments not finalized by the specified deadline will be processed in the following year and will be subject to interest, penalties, and additional fees.
