The Kansas City Laborer Job Fair is scheduled for June 29, 2024, at the Convention Center Grand Ballroom, located at 16th & Wyandotte. Prospective attendees are encouraged to apply online prior to the event to streamline the check-in and interview process. Selected applicants will receive conditional job offers onsite.
Free parking will be available at the Kauffman Performing Arts Center garage at 287 W 17th Street. Attendees must take a ticket upon entering the garage and present it to staff for validation when leaving the job fair.
The job fair presents a significant opportunity for individuals seeking labor positions across various departments within Kansas City. The city offers comprehensive benefits including paid holidays, paid vacation and sick leave, public service loan forgiveness, and tuition reimbursement. Open positions have salary ranges from $16.12 to $29.98 per hour.

The mission of this event is to connect job seekers with fulfilling employment opportunities that contribute to community growth and development. Positions available include Airport Security Dispatchers, Community Engagement Officers, Engineering Technicians, Maintenance Mechanics, Public Health Nurses among others.
