Governor Mike Parson's schedule for the upcoming week is packed with various meetings and events, as detailed in an official announcement.
On Monday, March 4, Governor Parson is set to travel to Lebanon for a signing of his new book.
Tuesday, March 5 will see Governor Parson holding a book signing at Yanis Coffee Zone in Jefferson City. Following this, he will return to the Capitol to present a proclamation to the Missouri Athletic Trainers Association, declaring March 2024 as National Athletic Training Month. The Governor will also attend a project announcement with the Department of Economic Development in Jefferson City. Additionally, he will host a meet and greet with Capitol Region Medical Center's future family doctors and speak at the Missouri Association of Insurance Agents Day at the Capitol. The day will conclude with Governor Parson thanking members of Missouri's Disaster Medical Assistance Team for their response during the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl parade tragedy.
Wednesday, March 6 will see Governor Parson hosting a meet and greet with the Neelyville State Championship Cheer Team in his office. He will then participate in the kickoff of Class 13 of the Missouri Leadership Academy. The Governor will travel to St. Louis for a tour of the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency's West Campus and a briefing with its leadership, followed by a visit to CarShield's facility in St. Peters.
On Thursday, March 7, Governor Parson will present a proclamation in the Capitol Rotunda, designating March 7, 2024, as Religious Freedom Day in Missouri.
