KCKCC softball player Savannah Short has been named the KJCCC DII Softball Player of the Week, the conference office announced. Short was selected among a panel of sports information directors in the conference.
KCKCC swept Ellsworth this past weekend by scores of 16-8 and 6-5. In those games, Short totaled an average of .857, adding a triple, home run and eight RBI. Short leads the team with 10 RBI on the season.
