Ea La Mar's Cosmetology & Barber College enrolls 48 undergrads

At Ea La Mar's Cosmetology & Barber College, 77 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 58 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The private for-profit school in Kansas City enrolled 48 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. No undergraduates were transferred from another college or university.

86 percent of undergraduates are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Black or African American (60 percent) and white (23 percent).
