Graduates earn 141 degrees, certificates from WellSpring School of Allied Health-Kansas City

About 85.8 percent of the 141 degrees and certificates handed out by WellSpring School of Allied Health-Kansas City in 2017-18 were to students in health professions and related programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in City conferred 103 certificates and 18 associate's degrees in health professions and related programs.

But the single most popular program was for a certificate in massage therapy/therapeutic massage. Data shows the school gave out 84 certificates in massage therapy/therapeutic massage, followed by 19 certificates in medical/clinical assistant and 18 associate's degrees in athletic training/trainer.

The school enrolled 166 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
