The celebration highlights Sporting KC’s historic win when the Kansas City Wizards defeated the Chicago Fire 1–0 at RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C., on October 15, 2000. This victory marked the franchise’s first MLS Cup and Supporters’ Shield.
