Sporting Kansas City will play against the Seattle Sounders at Lumen Field on Sunday night. According to the official Player Status Report, Sporting Kansas City will be missing four players due to injury: Joaquin Fernandez, Manu Garcia, Jack Kortkamp, and Erik Thommy. Additionally, Alan Montes and Memo Rodriguez will not be available as both are expecting children with their wives.
Seattle Sounders have listed Joran Gerbet as questionable for the match because of a thigh issue. The team will also be without Stuart Hawkins (quad), Paul Arriola (knee), Ryan Kent (hamstring), Joao Paulo (knee), Albert Rusnak (hamstring), and Jordan Morris (shoulder).
The match is scheduled to start at 8:15 p.m. CT, with actual kickoff at 8:25 p.m. It will be broadcast nationally on FS1 and FOX Deportes, streamed on Apple TV+ and MLS Season Pass, and available locally on Sports Radio 810 WHB.
