Sporting Kansas City announced on April 20 its schedule of matches, youth camps, and community initiatives for the week of April 20 to April 26. The club will travel to face the Chicago Fire at Soldier Field on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Central Time. The match will be broadcast in both English and Spanish on Apple TV, with local radio coverage available through Sports Radio 810 WHB and La Grande 1340 AM.

The announcement also highlights several fan engagement opportunities. No Other Pub, located in the Kansas City Power & Light District, will host an official watch party for Saturday’s match. The venue is a finalist for Best Local Sports Bar in the USA TODAY Sports Readers’ Choice Awards 2026, with voting open until May 11.

In addition to professional matches, Sporting Kansas City is organizing youth soccer activities this week. Two one-day camps are scheduled: one tonight at Sporting Park in Kansas City, Kansas from 5:30 to 8 p.m., and another on Friday morning at Homefield in Olathe from 9 a.m. to noon. Both camps are open to boys and girls aged five to fourteen years old.

The club is also hosting MLS NEXT ID Sessions for U13-U19 players as part of preparations for the upcoming season. Sessions take place tonight at Barstow Soccer Stadium and Thursday at Swope Soccer Village.

Community service remains a focus during Major League Soccer’s Greener Goals Week of Service. Sporting KC players and staff will volunteer with Urban Produce Push KC on Tuesday afternoon to prepare Pendleton Heights Community Garden for spring planting. On Thursday morning, associates will assist Kanbe’s Markets by sorting rescued produce destined for local food pantries and shelters.

Other notable events include ticket availability for “Soccer Capital Summer” programming in June and July; ongoing registration for early childhood soccer programs; tryouts Sunday afternoon at UMKC’s Durwood Soccer Stadium for the Sporting KC Unified Team; participation by defender Luca Antongirolami with the U.S Under-16 Boys’ National Team against Argentina; multiple SKC Academy matches at MLS NEXT Flex tournament in Texas; a home game Sunday night between Sporting KC II and Houston Dynamo II; as well as merchandise discounts ending Tuesday night.
