Sporting Kansas City II will host Tacoma Defiance on Sunday, May 3, as part of a four-match homestand at Victory Field at Swope Soccer Village. The match is scheduled for 7 p.m. Central Time and tickets are available for $10 through SeatGeek.com. Fans can also watch the game for free via the OneFootball app or MLSNEXTPro.com.

This fixture comes as Sporting KC II has secured two positive results in their last three outings, including a comeback victory over Whitecaps FC 2. In that match, Zamir Loyo Reynaga and Kashan Hines each scored their first professional goals, with midfielder Carter Derksen assisting twice to become the team’s assist leader this season.

Goalkeeper Jacob Molinaro earned his first win of the season against Vancouver and currently leads the league in saves with 32 after starting all nine games so far. Defender Pierre Lurot has played every minute this season and serves as co-captain alongside Blaine Mabie.

In their most recent game against Houston, midfielder Johann Ortiz returned from injury to score his second goal of the year, joining forward Missael Rodriguez as joint top scorers for SKC II this season.

Tacoma Defiance recently claimed their first win of 2026 by defeating LAFC 2 by a score of 4-1. They are coached by Paulo Nagamura, who previously led SKC II before joining Seattle Sounders’ second team ahead of this MLS NEXT Pro campaign. Tacoma’s leading scorer is Yu Tsukanome with four goals—three scored in just the last two matches—after being named an honorable mention for MLS NEXT Pro Best XI last year.

SKC II will finish its homestand on Wednesday, May 6th against Ventura County FC at Victory Field. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m., with tickets again available through SeatGeek.com.
